From the start of my career as a hungry young chef, to feeding my soul working with the earth on farms both domestic and abroad, I dig deep when it comes to the world of food.
After working in restaurant kitchens and gaining valuable kitchen skills at Seattle Culinary Academy, I went on to study writing & sustainable agriculture at Evergreen State College. As a broke graduate, a producer friend brought me into a photography studio in Seattle for my first food stylist assisting job. I quickly accepted the call to move into this creative and generative culinary career. I returned to my home state of California in 2012 and began working in the food photography industry full-time.
I constantly adapt to stay creative and inspired. In these uncertain times, I find my passion lies in dreaming and scheming the future into existence. Humans must evolve, collectively. Rebalancing our relationship to nature, food, health & justice is at the center of that movement. I choose to believe that we can "be the change."
I have used my ever-growing knowledge, skills, experience & wild style as a freelance creative culinary producer, consultant, recipe developer & food stylist for over a decade.
